Fried Fish
Gurun is one of the districts of Kedah. There has one famous mountain that is call GUNUNG JERAI. It is one of the locations of tourism in Kedah.
Apart of the mountain, that is also famous of food. That is one food that is very famous among that local people and nearby district that is fried fish. In Malay word call Ikan Bakar which means burnt fish.
There has a very famous fried fish stall that is located at KAMPUNG BARU, 888 CAFÉ . Almost every night, the hawker will busy to fry the fish to their customer. The price is very cheap and it depends on the sizes and kinds of fish that you ask.
We are asking the stingray fish. The total amount of it is RM12.00.When we tried it,wow, it is really delicious……He is using onion sauce, which is use to mix the fish with that sauce to make it more delicious. But, it also has a little bit spicy due to the sauce has some chili or sambal belacan.The fish is put with a banana leaf between the seafood and hotplate.
